ZEMAR INC was founded in October 1979 by Joe Robb, specializing in voltage regulators. Before forming ZEMAR INC, Mr. Robb worked for an investor owned utility, Public Service Of Indiana, as a substation operator. Mr. Robb also worked for a Generation and Transmission facility for the COOP’S Hoosier Energy as a substation maintenance technician, and taught the  Hoosier Energy Apprenticeship Training Program in Indiana. Mr. Robb has worked world wide as a contractor for McGraw Edison and other companies trouble shooting. Mr Robb teaches regulator schools both nationally and internationally. The company was sold in Nov of 2008 and is now owned by ZEMAR Transformer Company. Mr Robb is still maintained by  ZEMAR INC to design regulator test equipment and put on voltage regulator schools.
